Travis lives in High Ridge, MO with his wife and two hounds. They spend their free time learning to be more self -sufficient. They smoke and cure all their own meat, tend bees, brew beer and wine, carve and turn locally gathered wood, grow vegetables extensively, forage for wild edibles, hunt and fish for nearly all protein and sometimes he writes books.
All of these activities will be discussed on this website. It will serve as a place where interested people can learn to do all of these things as well as ask questions about the whole process.
